Visors

Visors can be attached to any Gecko marine safety helmet and they provide additional protection from the elements and collisions.

  • The visors are manufactured from Lexan polycarbonate which meets the highest impact requirement of BS4110 eye protectors for vehicle users.
  • The clear visor provides 97% UV protection while the smoked visors provide 100% UV protection.
  • Visors are fitted to your helmet using hard wearing ‘quick release’ studs that provide a secure fit with the ability to snap off if the wearer is thrown overboard; a safety precaution to reduce the risk of a strain injury to the neck
  • For a visor to be worn with a Gecko helmet the helmet must have stud attachments.
  • The visors are designed to fit specific Gecko helmet models and marks so please check these details before ordering a spare or replacement visor.
