Five years of extensive collaborative research and development between Mustang Survival and HAMMAR® led to the creation of the smallest self-righting inflatable PFD available for maritime special operations. Using a new HAMMAR® manual inflator, this RATIS™ SOF LPU only inflates when the user chooses, avoiding accidental deployments. The LPU is also available in our standard HIT inflator (MD1501) and with a programmable automatic inflator that allows users to switch between inflation settings triggered by depth, time submerged in water, or a combination of both (MD1500.)
